Live Nativity

For first Monday we went to see a live nativity in Alpine. We all met at a church and than rode buses or trailers with hay up to some property where soldiers told us we all needed to be taxed. We went through Bethlehem and got to pet some camels, goats and sheep, meet the wisemen and see some of the activities that would have been going on in Bethlehem at the time of Christ's birth. Than at the end we went to another barn and saw Mary, Joseph, and the baby Jesus. What a great activity during this holiday season, it puts your mind where it really needs to be.
