Gabe was outside playing on the trampoline with Sariah when she bounced him he tried to catch himself when he came down, but his arm fell through the springs and he hit is eye on the metal bar. I put ice on it and gave him ibuprofen and he cried himself to sleep. Several hours later he woke up crying and when we went in to check on him the whole side of his face was swollen and he couldn't open his eye, so off to the ER we went. After a CT scan to make sure that his eye socket wasn't broken we went home and back to bed. The next day his eye was still swollen shut, it took weeks for the swelling to go down and even more time for the black eye to go away.
