So I am the mother of a teenager. When did I get so old, when did she grow up, where's my baby. Maryssa is 13 and I might be hyperventilating. We spent her birthday together as a family, it was nice. She probably would have preferred having a bunch of friends over, but I wanted her for ourselves.
She is turning into such a beautiful young woman, and she is such a good girl too which makes me very proud. I hope she stays strong and always remembers how much she is loved and that she is a daughter of God. I love you Maryssa and feel honored everyday that I get to call you my daughter. Happy Birthday!
