We haven't been able to do much with the Bergquist's this summer, so Shannon and I decided to get together and go up the canyon for lunch and to try to escape the heat. We decided to roast hotdogs, but didn't think that the canyon would be so busy and that we wouldn't be able to start a fire. We ended up going to rock canyon, and starting a fire on one of their BBQ grills. We quickly made hotdogs before someone caught us. Then we sat and visited while the kids played. The kids were playing down by the river having a great time. Gabe kept bending over to pick up rocks and wasn't aware that his bottom was soaking wet. We all put our feet in the river and had a really enjoyable summer afternoon.
