When I was growing up conference weekend was a big deal, I have been trying to make it a big deal with my children as well. I am always trying to think of different activities to engage the children and to get them to listen. I also have plenty of treats and good food so the children will look forward to conference weekend instead of dreading it.
I made some conference packets for each of the kids with activities and we did conference bingo during the Saturday sessions.
On Sunday I had bowls of candy with a topic attatched and everytime an apostle spoke about that topic we got a piece of candy from that bowl.
The kids actually did well and listened to at least one Saturday and both Sunday sessions.
