On February 8th Grandpa Stanton had his right leg amputated after a fall in his backyard that ruined his nerves, severed an artery and ruined his knee replacement. The children couldn't see him at first because of the risk of infection, so finally on February 20th we took the kids to visit. Grandpa is doing great and recovering well. We are just happy to have him around for awhile longer.
The boys enjoyed playing catch with Grandpa in the living room.
