Summer Nights

Saturday August 22 was a hot day and Curtis and I really wanted to get out of the house so we decided to go up the canyon and have a picnic and play some games. Jocelyn and her kids and Chelsea and James and their kids came up with us. We just picked up hot and ready pizza from little Caesars and headed up the canyon.


The children had a lot of fun climbing on the rock formations at Rock canyon park.



It was so nice to get out of the heat. We played apples to apples and last word. Chelsea said it was a very different experience playing these games with young kids. The children didn't quite get the rules, but it was fun nonetheless. It was a great evening and a fun way to cool of. I love summer nights.
